Christine Pattle writes thrillers. Countless hours spent watching every high-octane film available in her youth instilled a permanent love of edge-of-your-seat suspense. She soon moved from film to books, devouring all things thriller, crime and mystery.

Most of Christine’s books are set in the fictional towns of Brackford and Hale Hill, which are based on Romford and Harold Hill in north-east London, where she worked for several years. 

When she’s not writing, she’s busy scaring herself silly riding big, feisty horses, or walking around the countryside dreaming up exciting new plots. As if that wasn't enough, she still manages to squeeze in the day job, trying to make small budgets do great things in the fight against homelessness.
