Diagnosed with ADHD in my early fifties, it was time to fathom my life's 'tapestry.' The front was a picture of sorts, and flipping it over revealed, unsurprisingly, the elaborate mess that reflected how living felt.
To heal the disharmony between my life's picture and the truth of my experience has meant embracing the whole work. And its been both bewildering and relieving to realise that the fibres I always sought to extract were integral to the thread itself.
So if you happen to find your nose in Talking to a Pie about Walking the Dog, it is my dearest hope that it might bring you to where the threads of your own tapestry - your unique experience of neurodiversity lie flat, knot or pucker, and where they shine.
